RoughCut
We play cowboy-style music, casual campfire setting entertainment, low-key acoustic music for background or focal point situations - music for parties or family gatherings. We bring the atmosphere and tunes to set the tone.
Jay Snelling
Jay is our fearless leader. Not only is he talented but he’s patient with the rest of us as we learn. He plays Bass Guitar, 12 string guitar, Mandolin, Dobro, Banjo, Fiddle, is extremely talented picking a regular guitar and he can sing too. RoughCut is blessed to have him in the band. He’s a pretty great guy too.
K L Buck Naff
“Bucklarado” is our Balladeer. He is a cowboy with class. He sings tunes from Johnny Cash to Old style country with ease. He has a presence that commands an audience and his voice is smooth as good whiskey.
Bruce Matsumura
Bruce is new to playing in a band but has surpassed the rookie stage quickly. He has a love for music and a dedication to learning that the rest of the group has yet to keep up with. Bruce plays fiddle and bass guitar “so far” as his collection of varied instruments continues to grow.
We are all lucky to have him in the group and blessed to call him a friend, as he truly has many.
Stacey Jo Dowton
Stacey is a singer/songwriter from Moses Lake Wa.
Known for her musical storytelling gift, Stacey's country VIBE is a throwback to many of Country Musics great female voices of the past. As the lead singer of RoughCut she brings strong vocals and a mandolin flair to every song. Her sense of humor and can-do spirit both motivates and inspires the band and the audience alike.
