THE CLIENTS RESPONSIBILITIES

APPLY AND PURCHASE OF BANQUET LICENSE*

“A banquet permit is a permit you apply for that allows the service and consumption of liquor at a private, invitation-only banquet or gathering held in a public place or business. Examples include weddings, company banquets, retirement parties, and club, organization or church events.” - Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board

$10 day fee

Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Control Board (WSLCB) Banquet License

Important highlights: When you have a Banquet Permit; attendance must be by invitation only and the event may not be open or advertised to the public to include social media.

*A banquet permit is not required when ALL of the following apply (per WSLCB):

  • The event is hosted by an individual, not an organization or business entity

  • Guests are not charged for admission or anything provided at the function (e.g. ice, setup, food, hors d’oeuvres, etc.).

  • "Charge" includes donations, dues, fees, or otherwise

  • The event would normally be held in the individual’s private home, but is so large that a separate facility is needed to accommodate it

  • The facility where the event is held is closed to the general public during the event and does not have a liquor license

  • There is no business purpose for the event or any financial gain

ALCOHOL

Unfortunately, due to Washington State Rules and Regulations we are unable to make your alcohol purchase for you at this time. We can help make this daunting task easier by providing you with your shopping list so that you know EXACTLY what to purchase based on your number of guests and menu selection

Please be sure to have the liquors that require to be cold (ie. beer, white wines, etc.) pre-chilled before our arrival.

KEGS

When our bartending services are combined with our Mobile Bar, Big Sipper, we are able to take care of your Keg needs - storing, cooling, and serving via taps. When they do not, we do not have a way to provide that service at this time.

If you would prefer to purchase bottles/cans here is the formula:

1/2 Barrel Keg (aka Full Keg Size) = (165) 12oz beers OR (124) 16oz beers

PREPARING ALCOHOL FOR OUR ARRIVAL
Please be sure to have your liquor prechilled/cool before our arrival; no one likes warm beer and hot liquor just eats up ice!

If you have NOT reserved The Big Sipper, Pour Advice, or Kegerator to be a part of your event:
You are responsible for containers and getting ice for cooling alcohol. We will take care of ice for cocktails.
If you have Kegs, please make sure that it remains cold after you pick it up and until the time of service. Please have your keg set in place 2 hours prior to service.

Best way to ice a keg: we recommend getting a garbage can, put it where the keg will be served as it will be super heavy after icing! Place some ice at the bottom of the garbage can. Next, place the keg in the garbage can, pour ice down all sides of the keg AND on top. We will take care of putting on the hand tap when we arrive.

CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE

Certificate of Insurance from your Homeowners/Commercial policy stating Host Liquor Liability is required.  This is a simple certificate you can obtain from your insurance agent at no additional cost. This certificate is required with final payment.

FOOD

Our bartenders and staff are trained to recognize and do our part in preventIng over consumption and intoxication. In order to help us keep your guests happy and not over served, we require that food be present at each event we attend.

Eating food before and/or while drinking slows the absorption rate of alcoholic beverages. Also, it is very important to stay hydrated (with H20 or other non-alcoholic beverages) when consuming alcohol.

GARBAGE DISPOSAL

Events tend to create more garbage than your average usage 😁 We will definitely clean up after ourselves but you are responsible for the final disposal of garbage.
